Scarab Jobs and Gameplay Hints Guide
In Ambrosia Sky, the player explores new areas to complete Dalia's various Scarab jobs. This guide is intended for players who feel stuck on a particular area.
General Tips
[edit | edit source]- Check the ceilings! The path to progress forward isn't always directly in front of you. Often there will be vents or other openings in the ceilings, high up on the walls, or in the floors.
- When you see red wires indicating an unpowered circuit, look for places where you can rotate a section of the circuit, flip on a manual power switch, or activate a power rod.
- Blue-and-purple wires indicate an overloaded circuit. To remove the overloaded effect from a circuit or door, clean all traces of nearby electric fungus.
Act One
[edit | edit source]Volkova Community Centre & Mining Outpost
[edit | edit source]After activating the manual override to gain access to the classroom, the next step is to tether upward to a difficult-to-find vent.
Entering through the vent will lead you to Kai Varga’s apartment, where you can perform their last rites and complete the Scarab job.
Act Two
[edit | edit source]Adair Bryden's Bunker
[edit | edit source]It's possible to lock yourself out of progressing further in the level by stepping on this pressure plate in the gravity controls room without turning on the Wyrdlight projector in the adjacent room. Stepping on the pressure plate will cause an impassable hybrid corrupter fungus to block the doorway, trapping you inside.
To avoid this, activate the manual power switch in the gravity controls room, then backtrack into the other room without stepping on the pressure plate. Rotate the circuit to turn on the Wyrdlight projector.
If you find yourself stuck after discovering the gravity controls room, check this tunnel in the main room.
